High Performance Technique Coaching for Dancers.
This Program consists of pilates based performance conditioning and technique training for all levels of dance.
The classes are mostly mat based conditioning and are comprised of specialised pilates exercises and flexibility drills, to target muscles groups required specifically for dance technique and injury prevention in dancers. Each 60 minute class will focus on a different area of technique, whether it may be flexibility, extensions, turns or jumps. Classes are capped at 10 students to ensure all students received individualised feedback.
This Program is designed by Head Coach Mikki Lipson in conjunction with specialised Exercise Physiologists and Podiatrists to ensure this training is SAFE for students of all ages.
Home equipment required for this program:
– Yoga Mat
– Yoga Block
– Foam Roller
– Theraband (reccomend Blue for 11 years and under, black for 12 years and over)
– Small Pilates Ball (19-22cm)
– Large Fitball (55cm-65cm)
All students welcome, different levels will be catered for with exercise progressions and regressions.
